Let’s learn to play “Karma Police” by Radiohead. It was a single from their album Ok Computer, released in 1997. Phil Selway is the drummer for Radiohead. This song is very well known and it is a great choice for any beginner drummer to learn. As long as you’re comfortable with some basic 1/8th note grooves and you’ve learned some basic drum fills before, then you should have no problem with this one. In the lesson, I help you understand and practice the groove patterns that are being played. There is an awesome drum fill that is played towards the end of the song too. It’s a little tricky for a beginner but with some practice, you can get it.
